Flow Rods™ - Ultra Light Thickness: Approximately 45"
Almost all the silk flags we offer will use this rod unless otherwise stated. Suitable for silk fabric of 5mm or less. This is the recommended rod for our silks.

Flow Rods™ - Light Thickness: Approximately 45"
A little thicker than Ultra Light. Suitable for thinner gauge fabric of less than 8mm silk.

Flow Rods™ - Regular Thickness: Approximately 37"
For a stiffer flow. Suitable for a thicker silk above 8mm. Note that all of our non-silk flags like: Liquid Metal, Sheer OZ, Electric Fire, Crystal Glow, and Double Layer Flags come with Ultra Rods™ - Regular Thickness, unless otherwise stated.

Flow Rods™ - Bold: Approximately 37"
Our stiffest rod for silk. Could be a little heavy feeling to your wrists when waving. Suitable for thicker guage silk fabric or Multi-Layer Flags

Can be used to replace broken rods in our Silk Flags (Sewing experience required)

These rods are perfect to fit inside a carry-on suitcase or larger purses. Great for travel. You should be able to hold both ends with one hand.

Do not bend further than 80% flexibility, as photo describes (If 100% was folded into a complete circle, 0% would be a stiff wooden rod)
Great for use in Man-Made materials (Nylon/Polyester, Etc.) & heavier gauge silk (8 momme & up)

Provides a flexible support for fabric

Can be used as replacements for broken rods in flags with the same rod, or as substitutes for Polymer Rods and wooden dowels in other flags

These rods bend perfectly to fit inside a standard suitcase for ease of travel.

Rods could break if bent past 60% flexibility (If 100% was bent into a full circle, 0% would be a stiff wooden rod)
